Strategy

Step 1

We offer your equipment / inventory to our extensive network of buyers that we have sold and conducted business with over the years. Buyers include resellers, service repair centers and international exporters. Present the offers to consignor. If not acceptable proceed to Step 2.

Step 2

Post your items on the world's largest auction place Ebay with a reach of 180 million users. Great opportunity to find end-users that are looking for that item. Marketing strategy includes posting ads in equipment forum websites promoting the Ebay listing and sending an email blast to all our past buyers.

Process:

  1. Assets are shipped to our warehouse and find the trending sold prices to determine if assets are worth the time and costs of posting on Ebay. Establish a clear distinct time frame.
  2. Audit services - Assess and determine condition of assets.
  3. Present consignor the listing prices and the Unitedrecovery.ca fee costs. Obtain approval to proceed.
  4. Take pictures and provide an editorial writeup for Ebay listing.
  5. Respond to all daily Ebayer buyer requests for additional information regarding condition of item and shipping costs. Arrange for client inspection of item if requested.
  6. Sold item will be properly packaged and shipped via UPS, FEDEX, CANPAR or CPC. For skid shipments we arrange and research cost of skid LTL for client. Monitor payment status from Ebay buyer if payment is made via Paypal or bank wire transfer. Confirm shipping address with buyer and daily monitor the tracking.
  7. As most buyers are located in the United States, we will prepare all US customs paperwork including Commercial Invoice, Bill of Lading, FCC Forms , FDA Forms, Customs Brokerage paperwork including bond in place and Canada Border Services Export Declaration Forms.
  8. Arrange for buyer request for local pickup if needed.
  9. Confirm with buyer if transaction was suitable, Request them to provide a transaction feedback.
  10. Pay the consignor and provide settlement paperwork.
  11. After 30 days if item is not sold on Ebay, the items can be reposted on Ebay for another 30 day cycle at a reduced asking price. Subject to $0.50/day storage fees for small items. Large items or skid storage $25.
  12. Items can be returned back to consignor. Consignor pays for shipping costs.
  13. Obtain written consent from consignor and dispose of assets and if needed the cost associated with disposal.
